2011 Negley Award applications are now available: Applications for the 2011 Negley Awards for Excellence in Risk Management have been sent to all MHCA members, National Council members, and shareholders in Mental Health Risk Retention Group. Three awards are conferred - top prize is $10,000 and two runner-up prizes are $5,000 each. The Awards this year will recognize those whose efforts to avoid wrongful termination are well presented in both written form and delivery. Application deadline is November 15, 2010. Loss Prevention: Visit the Risk Management section to watch the new five minute loss prevention videoclips designed to help you to reduce your risk in your centers. Primary Healthcare Integration: Negley Associates, working with MHCA and the National Council, announced an affirmative insurance solution for the integration of primary healthcare with behavioral healthcare for MHRRG. MHRRG will positively provide coverage in the policy wording and specifically define Primary Medical Care in the definitions section of the policies. Negley’s goal is to assure that our insured centers, their doctors and their employees are protected for the services being provided as well as for the services others are providing on their behalf. Coverage will be customized for each center’s unique integration structure. 2010 National Council Risk Management Award: Negley Associates and MHRRG sponsored the first National Council Award for Excellence in Risk Management which included a $10,000 grant to the winner, Institute for Community Living, New York, NY, Peter Campanelli, PhD, CEO. The award, underwritten by Negley Associates, was presented at the National Council Awards Dinner in Orlando on March 16, 2010. New Admitted Auto and Property Carrier: In April, Travelers partnered with Negley to provide admitted auto and property coverage which is available to MHRRG. Premium Payment Plan: Our Underwriting Managers, Negley Associates, have arranged a turnkey premium payment solution designed to ease the financial burden of insurance costs. We have partnered with Premium Payment Plan (PPP) to bring our insureds a premium finance solution. It is available for all lines of business.
